Keragala Padmavathi Pirivena
A pirivena that occupies a prominent place among the pirivenas of the Vanavasi faction in the latter half of the Kotte period. This Pirivena can be known as the base place for Hansa Sandesha, which is a high literary work among Sandesha Kavyas. Two sannas and eight stone pillars are still visible today. This place is located about 3 km away from the entrance to Keragala road from Henegama Junction on the Gampaha Kiridivela Route No. 202 bus route.

 

Siri Perakumba Raja Maha Viharaya (Lunugama Temple)

The temple with a reclining statue of about twelve cubits in the cave belonging to the sixth Parakumba king period, the old temple with the king’s statue, the dragon pavilion and the Vajrasana, can be reached by turning from the Gampola junction on the 225 bus route, which bisects the Kiga and takes about two kilometers to reach this place.

 

 

 

Ancient Temple of Samanabedda
The monks belonging to the reign of Walagamba are working in peace. The temple is named Sramana gramaya Samanabedda and built in front of a cave carved with elephants.

This place is located in a hilly area where a double bodhi tree is planted, this place is about 1.2 km away from the Navatiya junction of Hanwella Kiridiwela bus route.

Nissarana Wanaya
A forest area where Vanusi monks live meditatively, this forest is full of natural beauty, where you can see small waterfalls, waterways and rocks, turn from the Pallegama intersection on the Kiridiwela Rangwala bus route, and turn around 3.1 km and go to this Aranya Senasana.
